Throwback: The Very First Lotl Pins

In the leadup to our Lotlween Kickstarter, we thought we’d take a trip down memory lane…

After all, The Lotls got their start on Kickstarter back in 2019! 252 magical supporters made the first Lotl enamel pins and stickers possible, and today, we want to celebrate their achievements.

The Kickstarter smashed through its funding goal and eventually reached 1700% funding. Wow!

Our backers funded several design collections, including the Camping Collection, the Dinolotl and Lotlnaut series, the very first Merlotl pins, and several others. All remaining pins can be found in our shop.

The first-ever Lotl pins arrived in early 2020 and presented a hectic start to a hectic year. However, their bright kawaii colors and shiny plating never failed to bring a smile to our faces. So although the packing process was hectic, there was a’lotl positivity in the air.

Enjoyment also came from seeing our sparkly Merlotl pins lined up in a grid. And seeing them arrive at their new forever homes, to the people who made them possible to begin with <3
